True Blue Cleaning
True Blue is a family owned and operated cleaning company that services businesses of the New River Valley Virginia area. When approached by the aspiring business owner, the client had a vision for the brand but seeked guidance surrounding brand and identity development. To kick off this new business, we were tasked with developing a name, as well as a logo supported by supplemental branding and a website to match.
Naming & Messaging
When getting a business started, developing a strong brand identity that speaks to your vision is the best place to start. To do this, we worked with the client to understand what the business was, as well as the core values and principles that represent it. As a family-owned business, we identified that trust, loyalty and quality service were the backbone of their brand. Upon further ideation amongst our team, True Blue was born – a term that means “unwavering in one's commitment and extremely loyal.” As an extension of this name, we developed custom messaging which spoke to their values in service and allowed the client to promote their brand in an authentic way.
Brand Design
Upon development of the new business name, it was time to begin curating a logo and brand identity that told their story. When considering color theory, people often associate clean environments with hues of white and blue. This business also works specifically with local businesses rather than home cleanings, so we wanted to capture this element within the overall design. As a locally operated business, we aimed to tie in elements of the New River Valley area to drive the brand home. Taking these colors and their local identity into consideration, we were able to develop a design that represented the True Blue brand in its entirety. When looking at the iconography within their logo, you can see a water drop to represent cleanliness, which encompasses buildings and rivers of the New River Valley within the water droplet itself.
