Green’s Grill and Sushi Bar is a local restaurant in Blacksburg, VA. This trendy restaurant and bar serves the Virginia Tech and Blacksburg communities with a delicious menu, and an atmosphere as fresh as their food. Green’s partnered with Joba Studio to ensure their brand, restaurant environment design, and print media quality matches their dedication to serve their customers.
Branding
Green’s new branding was inspired by the restaurant’s owners and their home country, the “green zone” of Lebanon. Drawing on this country and their culture for inspiration, the Joba Studio team created their logo mark based on the Lebanese cedar tree, and one of the restaurant’s main offerings, the creative sushi roll. The result of this discovery and development is a brand that matches the roots of the restaurant and its owners while also integrating into the college food scene and historic downtown of Blacksburg.
Environmental
A rustic remodel gave this restaurant a feel of earthy-greens, complimented by a twist of contemporary branding, that pays homage to their delicious and creative menu. The parameters of this project included creating a more cohesive atmosphere and designing the space with a lounge-like and inviting mood. We transformed the interior dining area to highlight their new branding and marks, seamlessly incorporating their brand identity throughout the restaurant. The updates all speak to the "green" roots of the restaurant and their commitment to fresh flavors and creative menu offerings.
To go alongside their fresh brand and fresh food, Green’s needed new fresh print media to advertise their business. The team at Joba created engaging print media from menus and flyers to signage and banners to make sure Green’s got their message across to potential and existing customers.
