Kevin Jones


Kevin Jones, a native of Chester, Pennsylvania, has seamlessly transitioned from an illustrious career as an All-American running back at Virginia Tech to becoming a dynamic force in the creative industry. Following a distinguished seven-year tenure with the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears in the NFL, Kevin redirected his passion and determination towards academia and entrepreneurship.

Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Environmental Design and Planning at Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture, Kevin's commitment to excellence extends beyond the gridiron. His academic journey complements a robust educational foundation, including an MBA and a B.S. in Industrial Design with a minor in Art History, both earned from Virginia Tech’s esteemed School of Architecture and Pamplin College of Business.

As the Founder, CEO, and Creative Director of Joba (pronounced: joe-ba), an award-winning Design, Marketing, and Communications studio, Kevin leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enriching lives through impactful designs and compelling communications. Joba's portfolio spans collegiate retail stores, the Museum of Modern Art, Target, Nordstrom, and numerous retailers and brands across 25 countries worldwide.

Kevin's entrepreneurial spirit continues with Triumph NIL, where he serves as co-founder and Creative Director. Triumph NIL, a groundbreaking venture, leverages Kevin's diverse experiences to address the evolving landscape of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) in college athletics. Collaborating with businesses, charitable organizations, and student-athletes, Triumph NIL strives to create meaningful experiences for the greater good.
