Joba Studio Takes Home 6 Awards At The 2022 American Advertising Awards
Joba Studio is honored to have taken home six awards from the annual American Advertising Awards this year— the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition! The American Advertising Federation works to recognize and reward overall creative spirit and excellence in the art of advertising.

GOLD & MOSIAC ADDY
Our dedication to diversity through the HUE+MAN Design Competition led us to win a Gold and a Mosiac Addy Award, recognizing our work in celebrating and cultivating diversity in the design industry.
The term HUE+MAN stands for Culture + Humanity. HUE is an old term for culture. Culture and Humanity are the drivers of this initiative. The overall goal of the HUE+MAN design competition is to spotlight emerging designers of color through funding and mentorships. In this, its inaugural year, competition winners Margaret Waiyego Zollinger, Peter Mukhaye, and Amukelani Mathebule, combine to form Culture Sculpture, an exhibition that explores the myriad of ways that contemporary culture is shaped by the diverse hands that produce it. The artists’ work is showcased in twisting pyramids that Jones designed using the USM Haller system.
